Lead team of 27 designers across the world to organize, design, market, and host the Service Design Network's 1st conference for young professionals.
Attracted 300+ attendees, 50 speakers, and 16 corporate + university partners.
As a lead platform manager, my primary responsibilities included overseeing the visualization and development of the conference experience, researching and evaluating the best course of action for the technical execution, representing the research and functionality of the virtual conference platform in attendee experience and concept designs, and supervising the implementation and operation of the virtual conference platform. My goal was to deliver high-quality digital experiences for the conference and ensure the platform was fully prepared and tested for its launch. I guided teams, determined the scope of work, and broke down complex situations into manageable tasks while navigating evolving risks and constraints.
